Public health, to me, is the fundamental foundation of a compassionate and healthy society. It embodies the collective commitment to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all individuals in our community, regardless of socioeconomic status, race, or background. At its core, public health is not just about treating diseases, but also preventing them from occurring in the first place. Public health also means ensuring that everyone has equal and equitable access to the resources and opportunities needed to live healthy and happy lives.
