This is Public Health®
This Is Public Health® (TIPH), launched by the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) in 2008, is a campaign to raise awareness of public health’s role in improving quality of life and creating healthier communities. The TIPH initiative highlights the impact of public health professionals and interventions while highlighting the need for greater awareness of public health issues. The initiative also aims to inspire future generations to pursue careers in public health by showcasing the field’s diverse and rewarding opportunities.
Through TIPH, ASPPH promotes the work of its member schools and programs, encouraging a greater appreciation of public health education and its real-world impact. The initiative includes educational materials, events, and storytelling to emphasize public health’s wide-ranging influence on society.
Through a dynamic range of activities—including a student ambassador program, graduate fairs, strategic partnerships, and events—TIPH seeks to grow the number of future public health professionals.

Healthy Longevity is Public Health
Shaping the future of aging through public health to ensure longer, healthier, more active, and fulfilling lives, while creating a thriving society for all generations. To meet this challenge, ASPPH has convened a Task Force of leading public health experts to develop a comprehensive framework for advancing healthy longevity.
Climate Change is Public Health
ASPPH has released Responding to the Climate Change and Health Crisis: A Framework for Academic Public Health. The framework addresses the urgent challenges of climate change and health across four domains—Education and Training, Research, Practice, and Policy and Advocacy—and integrates themes of Justice, Collaboration, and Partnership to drive meaningful change in public health.
