About the Event
The 2024 Undergraduate Network Leadership Retreat is September 11-13 in Salem, VA at Roanoke College. The retreat provides a space for Associate or Assistant Deans or Program Directors of undergraduate public health programs to connect, share promising practices and engage in discussions about the future of undergraduate education in public health.
Participants should plan to arrive in Salem, VA by 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 11 and depart at 12:00 pm on Friday, September 13.

Registration Information and Fees
ELIGIBILITY
This event is open to ASPPH Undergraduate Network Primary Representatives (Associate or Assistant Deans of Undergraduate Education or Undergraduate Program Directors) or individuals in those roles at non-Network institutions.
Participation is limited to one person per institution.

HOTEL AND TRAVEL
ASPPH has secured a block of rooms at the Hotel Roanoke, 110 Shenandoah Ave NW Roanoke, VA 24016. The hotel is a short drive to the event location at Roanoke College and shuttle service will be provided. The group rate is $189/night plus applicable taxes. To ensure availability at the group rate, rooms must be reserved by Friday, August 16.
BY AIR:
The closest airport to Salem, VA is Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA), which is approximately 6 miles from the hotel. The hotel provides shuttle services from the airport.
BY TRAIN:
Amtrak services the Roanoke Station, which is about 6 miles from the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center.
BY CAR:
If you are driving into Salem, VA is easily accessible via Interstate 81. The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center offers both valet and self-parking for guests.
