2026 Undergraduate Network Leaders Retreat

ABOUT THE EVENT
The 2026 Undergraduate Network Leaders Retreat will be held in-person Wednesday, September 16 – Friday, September 18 at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, NC. This year’s event will be hosted by the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. The retreat provides a space for Associate or Assistant Deans or Directors of undergraduate public health programs to connect, share promising practices and engage in discussions about the future of undergraduate education in public health.
Participants should plan to arrive in Chapel Hill by 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 16 and depart no earlier than 1:00 pm on Friday, September 18.

ELIGIBILITY
This event is open to ASPPH Undergraduate Network Primary Representatives (Associate or Assistant Deans of Undergraduate Education or Undergraduate Program Directors) or individuals in those roles at non-Network institutions.
Please see our Undergraduate Network Directory to view the Primary Representative for each member institution. Each institution may send one attendee to the Retreat.

HOTEL
ASPPH has secured a block of rooms at the Carolina Inn. The group rate is $274/night plus applicable taxes. To ensure availability at the group rate, rooms must be reserved by Friday, August 21, 2026. We cannot guarantee availability at the group rate beyond this date. TRAVEL
The Carolina Inn is located 17 miles (about 25 minutes) from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). The Carolina Inn does not provide shuttles to and from the airport, but taxis and rideshare transportation are readily available. On-site parking is available at the hotel.
