ASPPH launched the TIPH Ambassador program in 2017. Nominated by their institutions, participating students elevate public health awareness by hosting virtual events, managing TIPH’s social media platforms, engaging with their cohort online, and developing projects and presentations that bolster interest in public health education and careers.

To be eligible to participate, students must:

  • Be in good standing with their institution
  • Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate-level degree program at the start of the cohort and maintain their enrollment throughout the majority of the TIPH Ambassador Program (August – May).
    • If a candidate is planning to graduate mid-way through the program they must self-disclose that information in their supplemental form and interview.
  • Be active in their public health community and/or institution

  • Positive/enthusiastic toward public health and higher education

Nominations to the TIPH Ambassador Program must be submitted by a faculty or staff member at a member institution. Self-nominations are not accepted.

This is Public Health (TIPH) Global Grant Ambassadors


The TIPH Global Grant Program, generously supported by Dr. Richard and Mrs. Linda Riegelman, provides awards to academic public health institutions around the world to develop TIPH Global campaigns that increase the visibility of public health in a region outside of the United States. TIPH Global projects promote awareness of public health issues, education, and career opportunities worldwide, with a specific emphasis on local communities.
