This session will highlight findings from ASPPH’s First Destination graduate outcomes data and the de Beaumont Foundation’s Public Health Workforce Interests and Needs Survey (PH WINS), with a focus on professionals under the age of 35. Panelists, including Dr. Emily Burke, ASPPH’s Senior Director of Workforce Development and Applied Practice, will discuss how these insights can inform recruitment, education, and long-term career support for emerging public health leaders.
The Healthy Longevity Framework for Academic Public Health

This webinar will introduce ASPPH’s new Healthy Longevity Framework, developed in response to the National Academy of Medicine’s call to action, and which will be released in late June 2025. The framework outlines how academic public health can lead efforts to extend healthspan through chronic disease prevention, infrastructure reinvestment, and cross-sector collaboration. The session will be moderated by Dr. Linda Fried, Dean of the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and Chair of the ASPPH Healthy Longevity Task Force.
