Early-Career Insights, Enduring Impact: Using Graduate Outcomes and Workforce Data to Shape Academic Public Health

July 7 @ 1:00 pm 1:45 pm

Join us for an engaging discussion on how data can drive meaningful change in academic public health. Part of ASPPH’s Presents webinar series, this session will highlight key findings from ASPPH’s First Destination graduate outcomes data and the de Beaumont Foundation’s Public Health Workforce Interests and Needs Survey (PH WINS), with a focus on early-career professionals under age 35. Together, these data sources provide a powerful look at the motivations, career pathways, and workplace needs of the emerging public health workforce.

Following the data presentations, panelists will reflect on what these insights mean for schools and programs of public health—how they recruit, educate, and support the next generation of public health professionals. Panelists will explore how ASPPH members can align with evolving workforce expectations and better prepare graduates for long-term impact in the field.
