UW MPH in Health Systems And Population Health Information Session

September 10 @ 3:00 pm 4:15 pm

This Zoom presentation covers the University of Washington Health Systems and Population Health (HSPop) MPH program. It’s a chance for prospective applicants to learn details about the program, such as curriculum, projects, funding, career outlook, and the application process; followed by Q&A. For many, this is the most efficient way to learn about the program. Our primary focus is population health and the health care system in the United States. We offer analytical and practical knowledge and skills to candidates with some experience in health fields who want positions of greater responsibility in improving the public’s health and the effectiveness of health care and population health services. Our exceptional curriculum includes required and elective courses in research methods, health care systems, health economics, health promotion, and the social determinants of health. The curriculum also promotes an understanding of the means by which social inequities and racism undermine health.
