The Global Network for Academic Public Health (GNAPH), with support from Dr. Richard and Mrs. Linda Riegelman, is pleased to announce the third cohort of the Riegelman This Is Public Health (TIPH) Global Grant Program. This two-year program provides funding to academic public health institutions to develop TIPH Global campaigns that elevate the visibility and impact of public health worldwide.
The 2025–2027 cohort includes eleven grantees from nine countries across six regional associations. For the first time, the program welcomed a select group of returning grantees to build upon and expand their previous projects. Topics addressed by this cohort include human papillomavirus (HPV), antibiotic resistance, climate change, decolonizing public health, and international collaboration. Through community engagement, creative communications, and strategic partnerships, grantees aim to educate, train, and empower local and global communities.
GNAPH also celebrates the achievements of the first two TIPH Global cohorts. The 2023–2024 grantees led projects on infectious disease, civil conflict, climate change, and career pathways in public health, while the 2021–2022 cohort launched campaigns that reached communities in 18 countries. Together, these initiatives continue to advance public health awareness and action on a global scale.
