The James and Sarah Fries Prize for Improving Health awards a $100,000 prize to a leader whose work has achieved measurable improvements in health outcomes for a broad population. Nominations should highlight the quantitative impact of the nominee’s contributions.
The Elizabeth Fries Health Education Award includes a $50,000 prize and honors an individual who has made outstanding contributions to health education and promotion through program development, policy, advocacy, or research. Nominations should demonstrate how the nominee’s work has directly benefited public health.
