In “Designing for Everyone: Accessibility and Equity in Public Health Education”, host Miranda Bosse speaks with instructional designer and accessibility consultant Leah Roman, MPH, MCHES, about the critical role accessibility plays in creating equitable, high-quality learning experiences for all learners.

With more than two decades of experience in instructional design and accessibility, Leah Roman shares strategies for incorporating accessibility and universal design principles into courses, trainings, and digital resources from the earliest stages of development. Rather than viewing accessibility as a compliance requirement, the discussion highlights its value as a foundational element of learner-centered education and an essential component of preparing the future public health workforce.
