From Our ASPPH Family to Yours, Happy New Year

winter lights, lantern and evergreen

As we bid farewell to 2022 and welcome in 2023, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on all that the academic public health community has accomplished together in the past year. From adjusting to life in the third year of a global pandemic to continuing to advocate for public health measures and funding, the academic public health community is leading the way in generating the evidence needed to advance solutions, training the next generation of public health professionals, and serving their communities.

Despite the many challenges and obstacles that we faced in 2022, public health came together and worked towards the common goal of improving the health and well-being of our communities.

We are grateful for our members’ tireless efforts and dedication to improving academic public health, and we look forward to continuing this important work with them, as well as our partners and supporters, together in the year ahead. We are honored to have the opportunity to support the work being done in academic public health in 2022 and into 2023 and beyond.

Wishing you and yours a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.
