Exploring the Impact of Policies on Health Equity: Dr. Anne Zink Joins Opening Plenary of ASPPH 2025 Annual Meeting

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Anne Zink, lecturer and senior fellow at the Yale School of Public Health, is joining us for the opening plenary session of the 2025 ASPPH Annual Meeting for Academic Public HealthThe Role of Policies in Structural Determinants of Health. The session is March 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM ET and focuses on how policies, socioeconomic factors, and systemic inequities have contributed to health disparities across populations and highlights exemplars of interventions and/or actions that have worked to bridge the gap.

Dr. Zink joins Mr. Daniel E. Dawes, Founding Dean of the School of Global Health and Senior Vice President of Global Health at Meharry Medical College. The session moderator is Dr. Megan Ranney, Dean of the Yale School of Public Health and chair of the annual meeting planning committee.
