Allie Murphy, MPH, Fulbright
Allie Murphy is a recent Master of Public Health graduate from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Allie received her Bachelors of Science in Public Health from the University of Texas at Austin. Allie is currently conducting teenage pregnancy research teen pregnancy research in El Salvador as a Fulbright Grantee. Her work spans global and domestic public health initiatives, including program evaluation for a non-profit in Cambodia, maternal health research for parents in Bangladesh, nutritional analysis for malnourished children in Guatemala, and STD surveillance in Texas’s LGBTQIA+ community. Upon return to the United States, Allie will be pursuing a PhD in Population Health Sciences with a focus in infectious disease and women’s health.
