Call for Proposals: RWJF’s Health Data for Action Research Program

RWJF-Call-for-proposals Health Data for Action Research Program

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s (RWJF) signature research program, Health Data for Action (HD4A), aims to reduce the barriers often faced in accessing valuable data, by serving as a bridge between data owners and interested researchers. Through the 2023 HD4A Call for Proposals (CFP), managed by AcademyHealth, RWJF will make 16 unique data sets available to successful applicants – at no cost to the research team. The application deadline is Friday, August 18, 2023.

The 2023 HD4A CFP is primarily for data access awards. Most projects will not be accompanied by a financial award, but limited funding is available for first-time investigators on a grant award.

The proposed studies should enable timely and actionable research that uses the available data to answer important, policy-relevant questions. Note: Applications with project directors from backgrounds historically underrepresented in research disciplines because of their race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, disability, or other factors, are encouraged to apply.

For questions, please contact healthdataforaction@rwjf.org.
