Healthy Democracy Healthy People and coalition partners are hosting a briefing, “2023 Look-Ahead: What’s at Stake for Health and Democracy” to discuss what to expect in the next year’s legislative sessions. They will examine how voting policies enacted in 2021 and 2022 impacted access to democracy and discuss how the health sector can be a more active ally in the efforts to promote civic and voter participation. The briefing will be held on January 11th from 12 pm-1 pm.
It will feature partners from the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM), Society for Public Health Educators (SOPHE), Institute for Responsive Government (IRG), Vot-ER, Civic Health Alliance, Circle, and Network for Public Health Law (NPHL).
