Registration is now open for the 2024 ASPPH Sections Retreat June 26-28 at Westin Boston Seaport in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Sections Retreat is for designated representatives from ASPPH-member schools and programs of public health for Academic Affairs, Data, Diversity & Inclusion, Finance & Administration, Marketing & Communications, Practice, Research, and Student Affairs. The primary purpose of the Sections Retreat is to provide these groups with an opportunity to share promising practices; increase knowledge; discuss current issues and challenges at schools and programs of public health; and network in an open environment with their peers.
The retreat officially begins at 2:00 PM ET on Wednesday, June 26, and ends at 12:30 PM ET on Friday, June 28. Also, please note there are several pre-retreat events on Wednesday:

Members: Participation is limited to one attendee per Section, per ASPPH-member institution. Section registrants must select a main track during registration (Academic Affairs, Data, Diversity & Inclusion, Finance & Administration, Marketing and Communications, Practice, Research, and Student Affairs), but may also attend sessions hosted by other tracks at the retreat.
Member registration fee is $650.
Guests: Guests are welcome at all meals and events at the retreat which include: reception Wednesday evening, breakfast and lunch on Thursday, and breakfast on Friday.
Guest registration fee is $450. Guests 12 and under are complimentary.
Meeting Cancellations/Refunds: Attendees may cancel their registration up until Friday, June 7, and receive a refund. Cancellations after June 7 will not be eligible for a refund.
The 2024 Sections Retreat is at the Westin Boston Seaport in Boston, MA. The Westin Boston Seaport is just two miles from Boston Logan International Airport. The group discounted rate is $299 per night plus tax. The reservation cut-off date is Friday, June 7. We cannot guarantee availability at the group rate beyond this date.
Hotel Cancellations: All hotel cancellation requests must be received by the property at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a fee equal to one night’s room and tax.
