External Relations and Advocacy Fellow

As a Fellow in the External Relations and Advocacy Division (ERA) at ASPPH, Maura serves as the key coordinator for the department, providing support across various strategic initiatives. Her role focuses on communication, advocacy, and branding efforts in support of the organization’s missions and strategic plan. 

Maura earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health (Pittsburgh) through the 4+1 MPH Program, focusing on Behavioral and Community Health Sciences. During her time at Pittsburgh, Maura interned with Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania’s educational department, gaining valuable experience in community health and education.

Passionate about health equity, public health policy, and addressing socioeconomic determinants of health, Maura is dedicated to breaking down barriers to healthcare access. She is excited to contribute to ASPPH’s initiatives and engage with members and community partners.
