In their role as the Manager of Credentialing & Continuing Education, Maanasa works with the Research and Practice team and primarily supports ASPPH's Center for Public Health Workforce Development's work on the Certified in Disease Intervention (CDI) grant.

Before her time at ASPPH, Maanasa worked in Medicare/Medicaid policy research, received her MPH in Health Equity, Social Justice, and Human Rights from UNC Chapel Hill's Gillings School of Global Public Health, and earned her BS in Molecular/Cellular Neuroscience from Loyola University Chicago. Maanasa is based in DC and when she's not working, she is most likely taking full advantage of the amazing museums, restaurants, and events in the city!
