In her role as the Project Manager for the Institute for Innovation, Discovery, and Excellence in Academia (IIDEA), Maanasa works with the Academic Division team and supports ASPPH's work on the Transforming Academia for Equity (TAE) grant. Maanasa joins ASPPH with an understanding of and passion for health equity and social justice. They hope to include their lived experiences and education in their efforts to create more equitable and inclusive academic spaces for public health students.
Maanasa also has previous experience in Medicare/Medicaid policy research and a strong background in mixed methods research. She's currently based in DC and is very excited to get to know more of the ASPPH community!
