On October 5th in Washington, DC, join two leading voices in public health: Dr. Sandro Galea, Dean of WashU Bursky Public Health, and Dr. Katelyn Jetelina, creator of “Your Local Epidemiologist,” the highest-ranked science newsletter on Substack. Together, they’ll have a candid, timely conversation about what public health gets right and wrong, where it’s headed, and what a more resilient approach could look like.
Galea will discuss his new book, Why Health? What We Need To Think About When We Think About Health, which asks why we pursue health in the first place and argues that public health’s path forward requires a new philosophy, not just a rebrand.
