Reminder: APLPH Caucus Moderator Submissions Due August 28

There is still time to volunteer as a session moderator for the Academic-Practice Linkages in Public Health (APLPH) Caucus at the APHA 2026 Annual Meeting and Expo, taking place November 1–4 in San Antonio, Texas. The APLPH Caucus is proudly sponsored by ASPPH in partnership with the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) and Public Health Foundation (PHF), providing a forum for strengthening connections between academic public health and the practice community.

The APHA Annual Meeting and Expo brings together public health professionals from across the country to exchange ideas, explore emerging issues, share research and best practices, and build connections across the field. Within this larger gathering, the APLPH Caucus creates opportunities for attendees to engage specifically around academic-practice partnerships and approaches that strengthen public health education, workforce development, and practice.

Serving as a moderator is an opportunity to contribute directly to these conversations while helping facilitate meaningful dialogue among presenters and attendees. Moderators must be APHA members and have expertise related to at least one of the 2026 APLPH Caucus session topics. Additional information about moderator responsibilities is available through APHA’s moderator guidelines.

Interested individuals should complete the Moderator Submission Form by August 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT.

Questions may be directed to Kaitlin Tager, ASPPH Director of Program Administration, at ktager@aspph.org.
