Call for Applications: 2026 IPR.Global Summer Research Institute

Applications are open for the 2026 IPR.Global Summer Research Institute (SRI), with submissions due by May 25. Designed to advance interprofessional research capacity and collaboration, the institute will bring together participants from across health and social care disciplines to address some of the most pressing challenges facing global health systems today.

As health systems continue to navigate persistent inequities, workforce burnout, fragmentation in care delivery, and the rapid emergence of artificial intelligence technologies, the need for innovative, evidence-informed, and collaborative research has become increasingly urgent. The SRI aims to equip participants with the skills, mentorship, and interdisciplinary perspectives needed to develop rigorous and actionable research that can inform policy, education, and practice.

The 2026 SRI will be held virtually, beginning with a session on July 8, followed by additional institute programming July 22–24. Participants will also engage in a two-month post-institute mentorship phase during August and September 2026 to support continued project development and collaboration. There is no participation fee for accepted applicants.

Additional information about the program, eligibility, and application process is available on the IPR.Global website.
