UCLA Fielding’s Dr. Lara Cushing, Professor Timothy Malloy, and Dr. Yoshira Ornelas Van Horne, all in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences, will present at a joint UCLA/CNRS symposium at UCLA on March 17-18, 2026.
The UCLA Institute for Society & Genetics (ISG) and France’s National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) are partnering to host a symposium that will showcase interdisciplinary and collaborative research on the anthropocene, a phenomenon defined by profound entanglements between environmental change, human health, and societal systems.
