In response to the increasing demand for skilled public health professionals, our recent study, A Narrative Review of the CEPH-Accredited Bachelor’s Public Health Programs’ Curricula in the United States, was published in Frontiers in Public Health. This comprehensive review, conducted by experts from the University of Memphis School of Public Health and ASPPH, reveals key insights into the courses offered across 90 CEPH-accredited undergraduate programs.

The study highlights that foundational public health courses, such as Epidemiology and Public Health Management, are central to these curricula, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the complexities of the public health workforce.

As we look to the future, ASPPH remains committed to supporting the development of undergraduate public health programs through initiatives like our Undergraduate Network. This network provides a platform for undergraduate public health educators to collaborate, share resources, and enhance the quality of public health education nationwide. By participating in this network, undergraduate programs can continue to align their curricula with the evolving needs of the public health field, ensuring that graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to address emerging public health challenges.
