With the release of the newest COVID-19 boosters earlier this month, many people feel we have turned the corner on the pandemic and President Biden declared it “over.” However, vulnerable populations live in all our communities and care must still be taken. Since COVID-19 is still capable of generating new variants, ASPPH continues to encourage the practice of public health measures such as hand washing, wearing masks in crowded environments, and vaccinations.
