The 2022 ASPPH Undergraduate Conference for Education in Public Health was held online Thursday, September 22. The Undergraduate Conference brought together academic public health educators, professionals, and students involved or interested in undergraduate education in public health to showcase and discuss innovative educational models and practices, pedagogies, and pathways to student success. Riegelman Award
ASPPH is pleased to announce Dr. Caryl Waggett (Allegheny College) as the recipient of the 2022 Riegelman Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Public Health Education. Dr. Waggett will be recognized during the 2022 ASPPH Undergraduate Conference for Education in Public Health for her leadership in education for public health. Dr. Waggett is a professor and the founding chair of the Department of Global Health Studies at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Over the past two decades, she has grown her work as an environmental health scientist into a thriving multidisciplinary public health major and minor.
