ASPPH is pleased to share new CEPH-aligned Instructor Guides and Case Studies, now available through the IDEA Institute eLearn platform, designed to help integrate The Formula for Better Health into public health education. These resources build on insights shared by Dr. Tom Frieden, former CDC Director, former New York City Health Commissioner, and President and CEO of Resolve to Save Lives, during the 2026 ASPPH Annual Meeting.

In his remarks, Dr. Frieden highlighted his book, The Formula for Better Health: How to Save Millions of Lives, Including Your Own, and introduced a practical framework, See, Believe, Create, to translate evidence into action and prevent avoidable deaths worldwide. Drawing on decades of leadership in public health, this framework offers a clear and actionable approach for addressing complex health challenges and advancing population health outcomes.

The IDEA Institute eLearn materials provide faculty with ready-to-use tools and real-world case studies that bring this framework into the classroom through applied, collaborative learning. ASPPH encourages member institutions to sign up to explore these resources and consider how they may enhance teaching, learning, and workforce preparation across their programs.
