The 2026 ASPPH Annual Meeting for Academic Public Health, taking place March 18–20, 2026, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA, convenes leaders, faculty, staff, students, and partners from across the academic public health community. This annual gathering provides an important opportunity to share knowledge, learn from peers, and strengthen collaboration across education, research, and practice. As a reminder, registration closes on Friday, March 13 at 11:59 PM PT.
The program features a dynamic agenda, including thought-provoking plenary sessions, concurrent sessions highlighting promising practices, and hands-on skill-building workshops designed to strengthen professional competencies and provide practical strategies participants can apply within their institutions.
Additionally, this year’s plenary sessions will explore communicating public health beyond familiar audiences in Beyond the Choir: Changing the Narrative for Broader Reach, will build dialogue across perspectives in Why Should I Trust You?: A Dialogue Between Academic Public Health and MAHA, and close with inspiration for the future in Leading with Purpose: Power, Partnership, and the Path to Health Equity.
Graduate and undergraduate students will also have the opportunity to participate in the ASPPH Public Health Innovation Lab, a team-based experience that applies innovation strategies and technology to address pressing public health challenges.
Attendees will engage in meaningful discussions on emerging priorities in academic public health while exploring new strategies and tools that support excellence and innovation across the field. The meeting also offers valuable opportunities to connect with colleagues, celebrate shared achievements, and contribute to a stronger and more collaborative public health ecosystem.
