Join our ASPPH Presents webinar, Collaborating for Impact: Academic-Practice Partnerships in Action through the Academic and Practice Linkages in Public Health (APLPH) Caucus, on February 5 from 12:00–1:00 PM ET, and learnhow schools and programs of public health, along with their practice partners, can collaborate to identify practice-informed topics, develop strong abstracts, and navigate the abstract submission process for the APLPH Caucus at the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting.
The session will also explore effective approaches to supporting practice partner participation, including travel and funding considerations, and will share real-world examples of successful academic–practice collaboration.
Participants will gain practical guidance on abstract development, insights into year-round engagement with the APLPH Caucus, and strategies to strengthen or launch partnerships that advance applied public health work. The webinar will be moderated by Kaitlin Tager, MPH, CHES, with speakers representing both academic and practice perspectives.
As a reminder, ASPPH will also host ASPPH Presents: Building Your Career at the Intersection of Climate and Health on January 28 from 1:00–2:00 PM ET. We encourage members to register and attend both upcoming webinars to engage with timely topics shaping the public health workforce.
