ASPPH invites all members of the public health community and interested partners to join our upcoming ASPPH Presents webinar, Advancements in Responsible and Ethical Use of AI in Public Health Education, on December 9 from 3:00–4:00 PM ET. During this session, leaders of the ASPPH Task Force for the Responsible and Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence in Public Health Research, Practice, and Education will share updates on their ongoing work.
Participants will gain insights from cross-sector collaboration and receive a first look at the draft Executive Summary, which outlines emerging recommendations and guiding principles for the field. As artificial intelligence rapidly transforms teaching, learning, and professional practice, ASPPH remains committed to supporting its responsible, ethical, and equitable integration across academic public health.
Moderated by ASPPH Senior Director of Innovation & Strategy, Jamie Atchison, with closing remarks from ASPPH President & CEO, Dr. Laura Magaña, the webinar will offer practical context for how AI can enhance public health education while upholding core commitments to ethics, equity, and public health values.
