Jamie M. Atchison, MS

Jamie Atchison is a senior technology and strategy leader with more than 16 years of experience driving organizational transformation through innovative digital solutions, strategic planning, and human-centered approaches to technology and systems development. As Senior Director of Innovation and Strategy at the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH), Jamie leads the strategic direction and execution of digital initiatives that strengthen the academic public health ecosystem and enhance organizational performance.

In her role, Jamie oversees ASPPH’s web and application development initiatives, partner web portfolio collaborations, and DevOps operations, while guiding the adoption of modern cloud technologies, agile methodologies, and secure development practices. She is recognized for building high-performing teams, leading complex organizational change initiatives, and aligning technology, people, and processes to deliver impactful, mission-driven outcomes.

Jamie’s expertise spans digital transformation, enterprise technology strategy, systems modernization, product and experience development, operational excellence, and cross-functional leadership. She is passionate about translating emerging technologies into sustainable solutions that improve efficiency, foster innovation, and create meaningful value for members, collaborators, industry partners, and the broader public health community.

An active member of the Washington, D.C. technology community, Jamie frequently participates in and speaks at national conferences and professional meetups focused on innovation, leadership, and digital transformation. She earned her Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Virginia, where she focused on aligning technology with organizational strategy and leading enterprise-wide initiatives that drive business value.
