ASPPH members are invited to moderate sessions for the Academic and Practice Linkages in Public Health (APLPH) Caucus at the American Public Health Association’s (APHA) 2023 Annual Meeting and Expo. Moderators must be APHA members and plan to attend the 2023 Annual Meeting and Expo, held from November 12-15 in Atlanta, GA. The call for moderators is open now through July 31.

Session topics include:

• Academic-practice linkages to move the needle on the social determinants of health
• Addressing health department workforce training needs through academic-practice linkages
• Collaborating to support the recruitment, retention, and training needs of the public health workforce
• Innovative approaches for supporting the development of public health leaders
• Development for the next generation of public health leaders
• Leveraging academic health departments to strengthen public health infrastructure
• Strengthening the quality and accessibility of public health workforce training through academic-practice linkages
