The Global Network for Academic Public Health (GNAPH) is now accepting applications by January 9, 2026, for the Riegelman GNAPH Fellow, a one-year, part-time fellowship designed to nurture the next generation of global public health leaders. This unique professional development opportunity supports GNAPH’s mission to strengthen academic public health worldwide and advance collaborative action across regions.
The Riegelman GNAPH Fellowship is open to early-career public health professionals who graduated within the past five years from a Master’s or doctoral-level program at a GNAPH member institution, which includes all ASPPH member institutions. The selected Fellow will work closely with GNAPH leadership to help guide and implement its newly adopted Global Plan of Action for 2025–2027.
The Fellow will function as a vital support to the Secretariat and president and help coordinate across GNAPH’s priority initiatives, including the COPE Program and the development of a global young professionals’ network. In this role, the Fellow will contribute to strategic planning, partnership development, and efforts to identify and secure funding that will sustain and expand GNAPH’s impact.
This fellowship offers an exceptional pathway to gain hands-on global experience, build cross-regional connections, and engage directly with leaders in academic public health. We encourage member schools and programs to share this announcement widely with their alumni communities.
Applications are due January 9, 2026 via the online application.
