Registration and Housing Now Open for the 2026 ASPPH Annual Meeting

We are pleased to announce that registration and housing are now open for the 2026 ASPPH Annual Meeting for Academic Public Health, taking place March 18–20, 2026, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA. The draft agenda, details on registration fees, hotel and travel, and skill-building workshops are also available on the event’s webpages.

This annual gathering convenes graduate and undergraduate academic public health leaders, faculty, students, partners, and supporters from around the world to engage in discussions that strengthen education, research, and practice across our field.

The meeting will feature a dynamic and forward-looking slate of sessions designed to advance our shared mission of creating a healthier, more equitable world. Attendees will have opportunities to network with peers and thought leaders, explore emerging ideas, and learn about promising practices shaping the future of academic public health. Additionally, several sessions will help attendees reclaim and reshape the public health narrative and improve communications.

2026 Annual Meeting Sessions

This year’s program includes a rich mix of curated and member-driven sessions that address many of the most pressing topics in our field. Participants can explore sessions on strengthening civic engagement, advancing equitable community partnerships, and navigating federal policy landscapes.

The meeting will feature multiple offerings on the responsible and ethical integration of artificial intelligence, as well as public health informatics, interprofessional education, migration, workforce needs, and many other topics. Our sessions are intentionally designed to provide participants with practical, transferable skills that they can apply to strengthen their institutions’ teaching, research, and practice.

Connect and Network

The Annual Meeting welcomes academic leaders, faculty, staff, students, alumni, partners across government and associations, and funders committed to supporting academic public health. We are grateful to the 2026 Planning Committee, co-chaired by Daniel Dawes (Meharry Medical College School of Global Health) and Dr. Melissa Perry (George Mason University College of Public Health), along with representatives from institutions across our membership.

We hope to see you in Arlington in March.
