The most important things facing public health educators today is the sense of caring about whether we live or whether we die. Human life seems to be much devalued these days and we’re going to have to really work hard to connect with the American people even those who don’t agree with us and be able to get us a better sense of that it matters whether we live or die and the quality of that survival. That really is the important thing today.
