What inspired you to study public health? 

I hope to promote health equity by addressing the many upstream factors (social determinants of health). that affect community well-being and quality of life.

What has been the single most rewarding experience of your career/studies so far? 

Working with a local non-profit and free clinic to organize a large-scale community health fair attended by nearly 800 individuals.

What do you hope to accomplish in your career? 

I hope to ultimately work in the intersection of primary care and public health, with a focus on chronic disease prevention.

Be actively engaged and involved in your community! Listen to people’s stories and find creative ways to amplify the work of local organizations.
