What inspired you to study public health?

Public Health gives me foundation and skills I need to understand and work on health issues like chronic conditions and find ways to prevent such conditions and promote health especially among the vulnerable communities.

What has been the single most rewarding experience of your career/studies so far?

Learning about the previous public health achievements and how much of a difference can be bought by small changes across the large communities was rewarding.

Advice:

Results of the effectiveness of a policy or any intervention in public health does not happen overnight and to bring change a lot of inter professional cooperation is needed.

What do you think is the biggest challenge that the public health field should be focusing on?

Taking control of the COVID pandemic is the immediate challenge and public health field is already focusing on that but other initiative that prevent future pandemics should also be focused. Control of the chronic diseases should also is a prime focus of the public health field as chronic diseases are increasing across all countries.
