What inspired you to study public health?

I am inspired by the way public health focuses on the community rather than on individuals.

What has been the single most rewarding experience of your career/studies so far?

My most rewarding experience was educating people on HIV prevention.

Where did you do your practicum? What was it about?

I did my practicum at the Division of Global Health, Brigham and Women’s Hospital. I was involved in a project as Research Assistant and the project was about HIV prevention among African-born immigrants living in United States.

What do you hope to accomplish in your career?

I wish to make an impact, I wish to be involved in a path that will be most impactful to the community. I wish to be part of those that speak other people’s voices for change.
