What inspired you to study public health? 

Public Health combines science, policy, statistics, and education. All topics i was interested in, and this field is all of those topics wrapped up together.

What has been the single most rewarding experience of your career/studies so far? 

Inspiring other students about the field of public health. Helping workers through my career as an industrial hygienist.

Where did you do your practicum? What was it about? 

OSHA, Office of Health Enforcement

What do you hope to accomplish in your career? 

I hope to go into occupational/environmental research or occupational/environmental epidemiology. Researching workplace illnesses and helping our workers go home to their families at the end of the day. Researching emerging environmental concerns and researching solutions to protect the health of our population.

Advice: 

Public Health is a field so broad with so many avenues to explore. This field can take you all over the world and allow you to help hundreds of people
