What inspired you to study public health?
I was inspired to study public health because I saw what unhealthy lifestyles could do, so I wanted to devote my education to learning how to promote healthy lifestyles.
What has been the single most rewarding experience of your career/studies so far?
Winning most outstanding master’s student in my department!
Where did you do your practicum? What was it about?
West Virginia University School of Public Health- Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. I worked as a research assistant!
What do you hope to accomplish in your career?
I hope to provide quality research to the field of physical activity public health and educate the future workforce!
Advice:
You can find aspects of public health in EVERYTHING! Never let someone tell you public health is “just this” or “just that.”
