A pre-application webinar will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM ET, for all prospective applicants interested in the National Institutes of Health (NIH)’s Office of Disease Prevention (ODP)’s two notices of funding opportunities for the Multi-Sectoral Preventive Interventions Research Network.

• PAR-24-053: Multi-sectoral preventive interventions that address social determinants of health in populations that experience health disparities (UG3/UH3, Clinical Trial Required) 
• RFA-OD-24-006: Coordinating Center to Support Multi-Sectoral Preventive Interventions that Address Social Determinants of Health in Populations that Experience Health Disparities (U24, Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

NIH staff will provide an overview of both funding opportunities, including objectives, application instructions, and review criteria; and answer questions from attendees. The recording and slides of this webinar will be available approximately two weeks after the webinar. An ongoing compilation of frequently asked questions (FAQs) is currently available for prospective applicants to review.

These funding opportunities were developed by the ODP-coordinated Advancing Prevention Research for Health Equity (ADVANCE) initiative, an NIH-wide effort to develop and evaluate referrals to preventive interventions that address health disparities.
