“I came out of the APHLI program feeling better equipped AND better supported. The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) team provided constructive, actionable feedback and the tools that I needed to make up my leadership game. Equally importantly, the program facilitated a deep bond with the other deans and directors in my cohort.”
Hilary Godwin, PhD
Dean, University of Washington School of Public Health
“APHLI was a unique opportunity for self-reflection related to one’s own leadership strengths and areas of growth. It focused heavily on developing skills that are necessary for effective leadership. I had previously participated in other leadership trainings, however, APHLI was the only one that truly impacted my leadership style.”
Hala Madanat, PhD, MS
Interim Vice President for Research and Innovation and Distinguished Professor, San Diego State University
“The Institute challenges you to critically reflect on how you “show up” in the eyes of others, discover new ways to better leverage your strengths, and sets you on a trajectory for ongoing professional improvement.”
Billy Oglesby, PhD
Interim Dean and Associate Professor, Thomas Jefferson University, College of Population Health – MPH Program
