The ASPPH Welch-Rose Award recognizes the highest standards of leadership and scholarship in public health and honors individuals in two categories:
The award also honors Drs. Wickliffe Rose and William Henry Welch, whose seminal 1915 report continues to serve as a central reference point for the design of academic public health.
The Welch-Rose Award is given annually to an individual to honor their lifetime of public health service and/or for their extraordinary contributions to the academic public health community,
Nominations can be submitted by any public health professional. The Award Selection Committee may also solicit nominations. The nomination package must contain the following materials:

Recognition at the Awards Ceremony
Crystal Award
Each nomination is reviewed by a selection committee comprised of the ASPPH Executive Board.
ASPPH leadership and the committee will discuss each nomination and determine the awardee.
