The Western Region Public Health Training Center Public Health & Primary Care Leadership Institute provides public health professionals with essential change management skills to enhance their ability to lead in their organizations and communities. This 4-month program offers an opportunity for professionals in public health and primary care to improve their capacity to influence change, guiding students through the fundamental principles and practical applications of change management. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks, case studies, and interactive workshops, participants will gain hands-on experience in developing and executing change management strategies, particularly focusing on public health organizations in the Western Pacific Region
Expected Learning Outcomes:
– Articulate the importance of a well-defined change management strategy in organizational transformation.
– Develop comprehensive change management strategies, incorporating Kotter’s 8-Step Model and other frameworks.
– Assemble and lead effective change management teams, recognizing the roles and responsibilities crucial to success.
– Create sponsorship models and ensure sustained executive support for change initiatives.
