ASPPH members are encouraged to participate in the upcoming Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) Faculty Development Institute, which will be held virtually June 4–6, 2025. The Institute supports efforts to build interprofessional education for collaborative practice (IPECP) and advance competency-based education. Open to individuals and teams, the program offers significantly reduced registration for IPEC member schools.
Engage with national thought leaders, including ASPPH speakers Christine Arcari, Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Tulane University Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine along with Stony Brook University Program in Public Health’s Lisa Benz Scott, Executive Director and Professor, and Gabriella Pandolfelli, Program Coordinator, Healthy Libraries Program, in exploring evidence-based strategies. Collaborate to advance your specific project(s), whether you attend on your own or with your IPECP team.
Specifically, the institute helps public health schools and programs fulfill the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)’s Interprofessional and/or Intersectoral Practice competency number 21, which is to “integrate perspectives from other sectors and/or professions to promote and advance population health.”
A discounted rate is available to ASPPH members, others from your institution, and your collaborative partners at other organizations. To access the discounted rate of $395 per person (current rate: $695) and $100 per student, register using the code PAC25 in the discount code field.
