The Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) recently graduated its 22nd faculty development institute cohort. Congratulations to the nearly 170 interprofessional (IP) participants from a broad array of disciplines who participated in the virtual training: “Building a Framework for Collaboration,” including the following ASPPH members and partners:
- Annie Frankel and Susan VonNessen-Scanlin (Temple) and team
- Audra Hamrick (West Virginia) and team
- Tanya Honderick (KU-MPH Program)
- MB (Marybeth) Mitcham (George Mason College of Public Health)
- Gabriella Pandolfelli (Stony Brook)
As a founding member of IPEC, ASPPH is grateful to Amy Blue, (U of Florida) Associate Vice President for Interprofessional Education; Clinical Professor, College of Public Health and Health Professions, who presented “Theory Burst #3: Assessing IPE Learners” to the institute learners.
It is IPEC’s aim that these institutes prepare participants to emerge as more effective faculty champions in IP education for collaborative practice. To date, more than 2,600 people from across dozens of professions have participated in IPEC institutes.
Stay tuned to for the next institute, to be scheduled in 2024.
