Injury and Violence Prevention Data Science Demonstration Project

Injury and Violence Prevention Data Science Demonstration Project (3)

Elevate your data science work through the fourth annual Injury and Violence Prevention Data Science Demonstration Project. Run by the American Public Health Association (APHA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, this initiative aims to enhance public health capacity by supporting organizations engaged in data science practice. Each site will be awarded up to $200,000 to assist with project implementation and applications are due by February 05, 2024.

APHA and the CDC are seeking applications from organizations with existing data science projects looking to expand their efforts. This may include projects to improve the timeliness of health information, responding to public health threats in a more efficient manner, increasing the effectiveness of prevention programs/campaigns and other topics.
