The Global Network for Academic Public Health (GNAPH), of which ASPPH is a proud member, in collaboration with the Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education (GCCHE), invites faculty from schools and programs of public health worldwide to join a free, 11-week virtual course, Climate-Ready Classrooms: A Public Health Faculty Development Course on Climate Change. This course is designed to equip educators with the knowledge, skills, and tools to integrate climate change into public health education.
Led by global experts, topics will include teaching climate change and health, extreme heat, air quality, vector-borne diseases, extreme weather and disasters, drought and food security, health system resilience, climate mitigation, and effective communication strategies.
Sessions will be held on Thursdays, September 4 – November 13, 2025, from 9:00–10:30 AM ET. Certificates are available for participants who meet course requirements.
