Collaborating for Impact: Academic-Practice Partnerships in Action through the APLPH Caucus

February 5 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm

Join us for our next ASPPH Presents webinar, Collaborating for Impact: Academic-Practice Partnerships in Action through the Academic and Practice Linkages in Public Health (APLPH) Caucus, on February 5 from 12:00–1:00 PM ET.

This session will highlight how schools and programs of public health and their practice partners can collaborate to identify strong, practice-informed topics, develop compelling abstracts that reflect shared work and outcomes, and navigate the abstract submission process for the APLPH Caucus at the APHA Annual Meeting.

The APLPH Caucus provides a national platform for advancing academic–practice collaboration and showcasing applied public health work. In response to feedback from Caucus members, this webinar will also share effective approaches to partnering and supporting conference participation, including travel and funding considerations, along with real-world examples and strategies for staying engaged with the Caucus throughout the year, and not just during APHA.

Participants will gain:

  • Tips for developing strong abstracts that clearly reflect academic–practice collaboration
  • An overview of the APLPH Caucus and the APHA abstract submission process
  • Insights into supporting practice partner participation, including travel and funding considerations
  • Strategies for engaging with the APLPH Caucus year-round

Who should attend:
